California: Huntington Beach + Signal Hill
As many of you already know, my wife Aimee grew up in Orange County, CA, and each year we do our best to take a trip out west. This visit gives her a chance to catch up with family, see her best friend Kristen, eat at some great restaurants, and spend a little time at the beach. While I also enjoy those things, I revel at the chance to take in the unique automotive culture of Southern California. My good friend, Cory Mader, also moved out there last year, so it was awesome to be able to see him, and break out our cameras.
On our way back from the beach, we spotted this great little Kharmann Ghia. As Cory and I were checking it out after he parked, the owner came over and chatted with us for a bit. More on that later...
After an amazing dinner at Sakura Shabu Shabu at Huntington Beach, we made our way over to Signal Hill. There's really no place like this that I've ever been too. It overlooks Los Angeles, and is breathtaking at night.
