Hey, Iām Andy.
I was born in Jacksonville, Florida and have lived in the South my entire life. I graduated from Mercer University in Macon, GA in 2007 with a degree in history and photography. Very early on in my time with my camera, I discovered that I loved shooting cars.
In the beginning I cut my teeth working with online automotive culture blogs such as Southrnfresh and Canibeat. I did publication work with S3 magazine, Performance Auto and Sound, Fastcar (UK) and USDM FREAX (Japan). Through this, I learned to tell the story of an automobile through images, focusing not only on the big shots, but also the details specific to each and every car I photographed.
My time today is split between freelance editorial work and photographing enthusiast cars for online auction sites such as Bring a Trailer, PCarMarket, and Cars and Bids. Bring a Trailer has trusted me for over 50 of their premium White Glove auctions. My experience has given me the knowledge to not only know what photos discerning buyers are interested in seeing, but also how to present a car in a way that captures the heart before the mind.
I live in Atlanta, GA with my wife, Aimee, and my son, James. In addition to cars, I love creating music, cooking, collecting watches, and rewatching King of the Hill. I am a Christ follower, and everything I do is for the glory of God.
