Introducing the Nikon F3
When I turned 30 a couple weeks ago, Aimee surprised with me a Nikon F3 HP film camera. Introduced in 1980, the F3 served as Nikon's pro-camera until 1988. The camera was designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro, who also penned classic 80s vehicles such as the Lotus Espirit and Delorean DMC-12. I've been in love with this camera since I began to seriously explore film, and I'm extremely proud to now be an owner. This particular set of snapshots isn't necessarily tied to any theme, serving more as a test roll for the camera. I did, however, want to share them because I'm simply amazed by the camera. This roll was shot with my Nikon 50mm 1.4 AF-D, which has long been my favorite lens. The analog bokeh produced by this setup has blown me away. I can't wait for the next roll.
